Challenge: The brand was running fragmented, siloed Google Ads campaigns (Standard Shopping, Search, and Display) which resulted in overlapping audiences, inefficient ad spend, and a plateauing Return on Ad Spend (ROAS). Solution: We architected a consolidated, data-driven Google Performance Max (PMax) strategy. This allowed us to unlock Google’s AI and reach customers across Search, Shopping, YouTube, Display, Discover, and Gmail from a single, highly optimized campaign. The following strategies were implemented:
Technical Tracking & Data Infrastructure:
Upgraded the tracking infrastructure by implementing advanced server-side tracking, Google Analytics 4 integration, and Enhanced Conversions.
This guaranteed a highly accurate, privacy-safe data pipeline to feed the PMax algorithm with exact purchase values and user data.
Merchant Center Feed Optimization:
Conducted a comprehensive overhaul of the Google Merchant Center product feed.
Optimized product titles, descriptions, and custom labels to ensure high-margin cosmetics and seasonal apparel were prioritized in the Shopping auction.
Asset Groups & Audience Signals:
Built highly targeted asset groups combining premium lifestyle video assets, high-quality product imagery, and dynamic ad copy tailored to different customer avatars.
Injected aggressive Audience Signals into the campaign using first-party customer match lists, cart abandoners, and custom search intent data (competitor URLs and high-converting search terms) to rapidly train Google's machine learning.
Results:
Achieved a 400% increase in high-value customers, completely transforming the brand's profitability on the platform.
Generated over 3.3 million high-intent impressions across Google's entire inventory, drastically expanding the brand's digital footprint and market share.
